Last weekend 25,5-year old male Greater rhea (Rhea americana) Eduard passed away. The logo of the zoo was also based on him.

At the end of August 2 Greater rheas (Rhea americana) arrived from Dierenpark Blanckendaell.

In September the zoo received 2 Axolotls (Ambystoma mexicanum).
