Gulfnews: Whale shark in Atlantis hotel aquarium to be released

The Atlantis Hotel has rescued a whale shark that was stranded in the Arabian Gulf. They are housing it in their 11 million litre aquarium tank.

I wonder if the controversy over the whale shark being in the aquarium was due to people thinking she was actually a whale?
