The male at the reptile park came directly from the Tree Roo Rescue and Conservation Centre.

1.0 Rocky the Lumholtz’s Tree-Kangaroo has died at Lone Pine leaving them without the species currently - reported on their FB page.

That's a real shame I hope they don't abandon the species it needs more holders

The following article states a female Goodfellow's named 'Kopi' was born at Melbourne in 2017. It can't be Healesville who welcomed an offspring early the following year, and have all four offspring accounted for, so it therefore has me wondering whether Melbourne welcomed a joey that year off display. Does anyone have any further information?

Lumholtz's Tree-Kangaroo has returned to Lone Pine. 0.1 Sofus has been transferred to the Brisbane facility from Oakvale Wildlife Park in New South Wales. This tree-roo was the first one bred outside of Queensland for the species - reported on their FB page.

Wildlife Habitat also have a new Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroo - a male named Taro. He is a wild-born rescue.
