There’s also been a couple of stillbirths:
Caballe gave birth to a stillborn male calf 01/04/2005 (sired by Zambezi). The calf was premature as evidenced by the fact she gave birth to her previous calf 13.5 months prior (gestation for this species is 16 months).
Kito gave birth to a stillborn female calf 22/03/2013 (sired by Kruger). The calf died from internal bleeding caused by a ruptured liver. There’s now been complications with three of Kito’s four calves given her first was born blind due to bleeding in the eyes and her fourth calf was born with skin lesions (a lifelong condition).
