Australia Zoo has unveiled three new male zebras, to be used as part of a breeding program | Courier Mail

While showcasing Australia Zoo's newest additions - three male zebras - to the media this morning, the Irwins were asked about their plans to breed the African animals.

"Eventually we'll find some nice girl zebras and hopefully they'll fall desperately in love," Terri said.

The three zebras, which are yet to be named, will feature alongside giraffes and rhinoceros in the zoo's new Africa Safari exhibit.

The Africa Safari exhibit will open in stages from September.

Ugh. Anyone got a bucket?

They are playing to an audience comnprised of children and people who view animals in a luvy duvy way, I would like to know where they came from too.

According to the 2011 Zebra ARR, three male zebra were recommended for transfer to Australia Zoo from Werribee Open Range Zoo (hope I am allowed to say this here).

Even if they do fall in love however, babies may not be forth coming, as two of the males have been neutered...
