Australian Move

I'm considering permanently moving to Australia. Does anyone know of a site where I can get info like average cost of electicity, tax rates, average cost of apartments, average cost of phone service, etc? At the current time, I am considering Melbourne. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Melbourne is a beautiful place to live but no where in Australia is cheap to live. Here's a government website that has some basic cost of living things.

Also, real estate is insanely expensive. I just did a quick search and there are 52 suburbs where the median house is above $1million. Apartments are cheaper but still cost an arm and a leg.
