Awareness in Asia?

Are there any awareness campaigns for China and other Asian countries?
I only read about educating people in Africa how important elephants, apes and rhinos are for the tourism and so on, but imho the core problem is in Asia.

Are there any campaigns trying to explain to Chinese people that they can stamp letters and official documents equally well with plastic and not ivory?
Or that viagra is much more effective and cheaper than powdered rhino horns?
 
That's a start, even if it's not much.
The part about the Chinese elephants confused me a bit, sounds like for a Hindu only Indian cows are holy and in Europe he would kill and eat them.

Are there no programmes to educate children in school?

Well, I have probably not the right approach, being a) a Westerner and b) as a person completely unimpressed by status symbols.
