Aye-Aye

Hi,

I am trying to find out which zoos in the UK hold Aye-Aye as part of their collections. I know there use to be a web site where you could look up which zoos held what animals. I think it was ARKS but not 100% sure & to use ZIMS you have to be a member. I know London Zoo has 1 female but can anyone tell me of other UK zoos please?

Cheers

Aye-ayes are currently held in the UK by London, Bristol, Jersey and West Midland Safari Park. :)

For UK/European zoos, this is the best current reference (it's user-edited, wiki-style, and generally by non-zoo employees, so don't necessarily take it as gospel but generally you'll find few errors): ZootierlisteHomepage

Thanks

Hi Maguari,

Thank you for the reply, it's a great help. I had a quick look at Zooliste and it looks like a very useful site to start from (I'll explore it properly later)

Once again many thanks
