Chester Zoo Baby rhino

We visited the zoo yesterday (28th May) and the new baby rhino was outside for the first time, being watched over by some keepers. Her mother Emma seemed very protective of her, chasing off everyone that came near the enclosure - Mugadi the male rhino, a keeper and a bird!

i went just before xmas & it was one of the first few days when you could go into the rhino house under the supervision of the keepers. the baby was gorgeous & got plenty of pics

AliceP, I believe Woodbine is talking about the baby born this year (may) to Ema not the baby born to Kitani in October last year.
