Some small news from this small zoo:

5 Timor deer have arrived from Zoo Berlin
1.1 hyacinth macaw have arrived

A 300sq m walk through aviary has been built for budgies:confused:
 
The final Chimpanzee in the collection has left for the Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary this week. He'd been at the Tierpark for 40 years but had been alone since last December when his final companion died
 
What a luck for he poor animal-freed out of his prison in this bad "Tierpark"-one of the worst places in germany I've ever been to. But now the Gibbons will move into this dirty, tiny "Hole"-altough the owners of this"Tierpark"are Animalkepeers....hard to belive after you've seen that place.

From your comments I am pretty certain you have never visited the place the POOR CHIMP has been sent to,I have and as far as I am concerned the places gives rescue centres a very bad name!!!!!!

I have not been to Bad Pyrmont Tierpark,but I have seen some pictures,lets just say I don't think the Chimp is much better off at its new home,apart from it might be able to mix with some of the chimps they have!
 
Do some of you have history of the Jaguars who lived there ?
I saw that SIR WILLIAM/WILLI was born here in 2003, and the presence of MIRA in 2009...
What ascendancy, where did they come from and went to... ?
