Take one photo of any Bear

Rules : -

- You have to have taken the picture yourself.
- Has to be in a zoo.
- Needs to be posted in this thread either by a thubnail or URL.
- Please write a brief discription of the photo when you post it.
- Only one picture per person.

All entries must be in this thread by 7 pm on Wednesday 6th April 2011

Here is Nikita, the polar bear from Kansas City. I like it becasue there is real snow.

Not the best picture I've taken of a bear in terms of quality, but I think the most interesting in a way and I think that's going to outweigh the sharper, clearer pictures I have of polar bears, brown bears and spectacled bears.

Franka is simply having a good scratch...you know that spot on your back that you just can't reach

The Large Bear(guessing male) at Chester giving me a nice close up. It was a toss up between this or the next shot where he has turned to my right and stuck out his tongue. Overall I think this is the better photo due to him looking at camera.

You can go further then that. There not just all Spectacled Bears but the same Bear at the same zoo lol.

Coincidentally, mine (which started this trend I may say ) was a toss up between two pictures as stated. The other one was a polar bear, which would have evened it out a little.

I'm attaching the other photo that I considered, but keep in mind that this is NOT an entry.

p.s. - to add to what Cheetah Fan said they aren't all the same bear, your's is a picture of Sangay, whereas me and LeeMac13 have opted for images of Franka

I will be entering my favourite UK bear at present because thier is no bear in the UK like INCA the Asiatic Black Bear from Dudley Zoo.
Mind you I to were thinking about an image of the Chester Zoo Spectacled Bears

I'll have to be more on the ball when the next comp crops up.
