Best American Zoos: Midwest United States

I am trying to do something new to come up with a list of the best American zoos according to this website. I will be putting up 7 of these polls, for several different regions. PLEASE only vote for ONE zoo in ONE poll! Also, this is not for the one with the biggest collections or most immersive exhibits, but the one that you enjoy spending time at the most.

I often think that the midwest section of the United States actually has the best zoos in all of North America! I'd place Omaha, Saint Louis, Sedgwick County and Minnesota ALL in the top dozen zoos in America, and Kansas City has the #1 African zone in the nation. A really tough choice, but Omaha got my vote.

I have been to none of these zoos, but Sedgwick County Zoo is the one I'd vote for.

The most difficult to predict of all 7 polls that were posted on this site, and the high concentration of world-class zoos is probably the reason for the close results.
