My favourite has to be the Long Stringy Stingy Thingy (Apolemia uvaria), a species of siphonophore. If you want to be boring though, you can also call it the Barbed Wire Jelly.

I wouldn’t dare to, Long stringy stringy thingy is just way too good of a name not to use.
