Best murals / mosaics at zoos
@savetherhino Thank you for sharing and sorry about my late response.
These backgrounds within the enclosures are excellent but I have to say that I like the bonobo stained glass mosaic best, I think it looks fantastic !
While not exactly murals these are some quite nice psychedelic style artworks on the subject of Gongorossa National Park at Boise zoo, USA:
These also at the Boise zoo and are based on indigenous Kuna (from Panama) "Mola" artworks which usually portray native fauna on textiles:

Some pictures I took of the murals at Guarulhos zoo, Brazil.
These were created by a local street artist, I think they are quite fun.

Minnesota Zoo is home to the Wyland Foundation's 71st Wyland Whaling Wall, "Our Ocean Family". It measures 192 feet long and 22 feet high. It's notable for being life-sized; the mother whale depicted is 76 feet long, fairly in-line with the size of female blue whales.
It's a bit less vibrant these days but still a real treat to see. It extends some around the corner, but it's mostly the whales that are the impressive sight.
