Many zoos have youtube channels and social median accounts but what ones do you think are very well and better then average.
I would like to nominate auckland zoo as their videos are well produced and they make frequent videos about conservation projects in new zeland.

A few personal favorites that post pretty consistently:

Dallas Zoo - love the series they did on the Hippo Outpost and seem to be pretty consistent with content

San Diego Zoo and Safari Park - Sharing tidbits of new arrivals or births, also can watch can streams recorded occasionally

Cincinnati Zoo - perhaps the largest following on YouTube and posting every few days it seems, very engaged audience

National Zoo - showcases conservation efforts, ex-situ and in-situ alike

Back to channels run by zoo, Taipei Zoo have a good one. It post video regularly about animals in the zoo as well as the care of them. It's all in Chinese though.

In The Loop often does zoo tours and reviews. Fun to have on in the background when doing something else as the videos tend to be 30+ minutes.
@OstrichMania I think tom s road trippin is a very good Zoo Youtuber, He Shows Not only ABC Species, He is showing Most If Not all Exhibits.
In my opinion, both Tom's Road Trippin' and In The Loop are good for when you are searching for video footage of a specific zoo, but not something that I follow and watch regularly, like I do with @Moebelle 's channel, whose videos are much more polished and more informative.

Australia Zoo's channel I'd say is pretty good, but obviously since the Irwin's are household names.

Houston Zoo's channel was great back for the first half of the 2010's I'd say.

I'd also like to nominate Blank Park. Even before I lived in Iowa I enjoyed their content and think their channel overall is pretty nice.

North Carolina Zoo had this great little series called the Zoo Files on their channel. Not sure if it still running but they were short little videos about just everything that goes on in the zoo.

ZSL's was also pretty nice.

Sasuke Tsujita is pretty interesting. Short videos of fish and other aquatic animals in Japanese aquariums (and some wild fish as well). Their videos only get a handful of views each but they upload regularly, the videos are good quality (no talking), and there are plenty of cool species. Definitely worth checking out if you're interested.

Another I forgot to mention is a channel called ZooVisitorMM. It's been dormant for about eight months now, apparently they now are active go Facebook. It's short clips of the animals from the Philadelphia Zoo. The channel has over 3,000 videos. I wouldn't be surprised if every species the zoo has held after 2008 is represented. There are also many videos of species now departed from the zoo, such as the elephants, bearded pigs, striped weasel, Indian rhino, and, of course, the douc langurs (my personal favorite!).

Also one of a mouse lemur and several of the Striped Possum. So sad to see so many cool species leave the zoo. :(

I believe they also have an account. I forget the name... something like ZooVisitor.
