Bib Fortuna aka ZebraDuiker RIP

I heard yesterday morning that Bib Fortuna had left us.
Michael was not a friend but someone I liked to see during Zoohistorica.
As a Zoochatter, a zoos lover and a zoos materials collector I will miss him.
I hope wherever he is now he is not too far from a zoo.
My thoughts are with him and his family.

I have never met him in real life, knew him just through online discussions and e-mails. A hoofstock entusiast. I don´t collect zoo materials, but I still have zoo guides from Landau in by library he kindly sent me 15 years ago.

This is quite the unfortunate turn of events. My condolences are with Michael’s Family & Friends. I may not have always agreed with his opinions, but he was a vital part of our community, and will be surely missed.
