This is not a zoo. But zamek (=historical mansion) in town Letohrad in northern part of Czech republic near Polish border has some new public parrot aviaries.

A set of 6 aviaries in french garden behind the mansion has following species:
- blue-and-yellow macaw pair
- blue-winged macaw pair
- yellow-naped amazon pair
- sun conure pair
- galah pair
- sulphur-crested cockatoo

The reconstructed orangerie which is part of the mansion has a new Australian aviary (10 x 5 m):
- Major Mitchell's cockatoo young pair
- red-winged parrot pair
- swift parrot pair
- gould amadine group
- black-throated finch group

Next to the Australian aviary is also a tank with 30 species of small coral fish like flue tang. Second part of Orangerie (green house used to grow oranges in the past) shows an assortment of ornamental curb plants like palms. The garden also has a pen with albino red-necked wallabies.

All these exhibits can be visited free of charge. Animals are cared for by voluteers from local bird keeper club.

btw Letohrad is a small historical town with a lot of places that are interesting for tourists like their museum of trades (muzeum řemesel). This museum built in an old granary with circa 90 rooms, each of them has original equipment typical for one trade/profesion from late 19th century.
