Bird identity?

looks like a gray plaintain eater to me. Just a guess though, I'm no expert.

a western grey plantain-eater (Crinifer piscator) to be precise ;)
I spent ages looking at that video trying to remember what it was but I'm at work and all my books are at home. I was tossing up between a go-away bird and some kind of coua but googling them came up empty for an identification, but yes it is a western grey plantain-eater (which is a type of touraco)

Thanks for identification, and yeah that bird does look like from the dinosaur age! Kinda like a Dodo, but less rump.

I agree (although to be honest, I don't know whether it's the eastern or western species). They have them at Lotherton Hall, and I have some close-ups which I ought to process and post.
*adds another item to the 'to do' list*

the western has a more heavily-streaked breast and dark feather shafts on the wings

Thanks for all your input guys, must get a bird book for christmas!
