Bobcat trappers poach bobcats from Joshua Tree National Park

Well this is quite appalling. People are illegally trapping bobcats on private property and in Joshua Tree National Park in California. I didn't know that this trapping even went on.

It's difficult to want to part with cash to conserve a species when hunting and trapping is legal. Anyway, clearly they missed the big picture, as they focused on it being private property and a national park - not that bobcats shouldn't be hunted in the first place.
