Bodafon Farm Park

I had been aware of Bodafon Fram Park in Llandudno for many years, but until 30th June I had never visited. Even though I had holidayed in Llandudno on at least three occasions during the last ten years.

It is a small and pleasant place, admission is free, it is possible to leave donations.

The Park is also home to The Owl Trust, not to be confused with the World Owl Trust.
The collection is aimed aminly at small children, who have theuyse of a good adventure playground. Some nice views of both the Great Orme and Little Orme headlands can be obtained from the park, and a ggreat view of the sea between them.

The aviaries look nice and are mostly shaded, so I think they are ideal for owls. theeagle owl aviaries are quite spacious.

I did not partake of refreshments during my visit, but the restaurant and terraces looked very nice,and other visitors were commenting on how good the food was.

Least it's very close to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, so no reason if you were going there, you could pop into the farm park for an hour on the way.

I must admit I do like Owls and Birds Of Prey.

The Scottish Owl Centre is a great visit, as is Beale Park (amazing collection of Birds of Prey, in very large enclosures).

I went to the school next to Bodafon Farm for my entire school life, though the school has been rebuilt since my day. I once nearly shot a cow (accidentally) during archery club one summer when it was moved outside from the sports hall.

In those days it was just a working farm, all the fields around school had cows or sheeps.
