I know Vladimir Dinets has briefly seen and photographed one in Mulu National Park in Sarawak some years ago. And when I was at Danum Valley in 2009 I was looking through the log book of visitors' wildlife sightings and someone was claiming a bay cat sighting on one of the night drives. On my night drives I only got mouse deer, giant flying squirrels and a really bad wasp sting which near paralysed my arm.
