Yes, this place is still very much a zoo(theres even a very nice Malayan Tapir with a decent enclosure and pool - though she is leaving in September).Without going into past circumstances this place is FAR from being any kind of hell hole and actually was the best of three places i visited that day(the other two being Oshawa "Zoo"[just about a zoo ,more a petting farm] and Jungle Cat World ). As for the change to an "adventure" park..I will state here and now that it wont work,its just too vague a concept requiring massive investment(which my guess is that the new owners dont have).Best thing they could do would be to keep it as a zoo,one specializing in Canadian fauna(they already have a good wolf wood).
