Braces

I am getting braces in about one month, so I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with them. I am writing this after an appointment with the orthodontist, he pulled out my two last baby teeth.

I had them for years when I was a kid. Sometimes the process was somewhat painful. Taking an analgesic when needed ought to solve that. It was all a big bother at the time, but to tell you the truth, now years later the experience does not stand out as one of the big events of my life. (Although I was at the orthodontist when the great black-out of 1965 in NYC occurred and he had to finish re-wiring me in the dark by the light of a bunsen burner)

I have them, generally they can be acquirable. I have a funny story related to braces: once they broken and after I pulled the piece out of my mouth, my mother accidentally thrown it to the dustbin. I have looked for them in the rubbish:D

They’re on. I picked a nice turquoise which contrasts with my small beard and decent mustache (for a 13 year old). It also contrasts with my usual attire of black, grey, and dark blue, as well as my general demeanor :p

I see your an edgy person, my demeanor, are black's, blue's, greens, white, and reds.

I remember having braces, it was a couple years ago. I remember I used to eat popcorn and gummies pretty often while having them and nothing really happened to my teeth or braces. I think dentists kinda just exaggerate all those rules. Also, don’t worry they usually just hurt for the first couple days and you’ll get used to it.

For some reason the words “don’t worry, you’ll get used to the pain” don’t seem very comforting to me :|

I’ve had braces on the upper halve of my dentistry, but none on the lower halve. I still slightly regret my parents never choose for the full monty, so it’s really worth the pain :)
