The new naked mole rats exhibit is a very good use of space. The window they used was an old gorilla nursery that has not been used since I was a child so probably 25-30 years. I remember seeing a baby gorilla in the window when a was a child.

Denning season has begun, with the zoo hoping that Luna the Polar bear may be pregnant. If she is pregnant, the cubs are estimated to be born in November:

As far as I know it's only Sakari and Luna.

Does anyone have any information on the maned wolves at the zoo? I believe there are two.

The zoo has 2 maned wolves both female Kev is 13 and Elisa is 17. I only ever see one wolf at a time when I go. I do not believe the are separated as both doors are typically open. Probably just sleeping.
