Bullens

No I did not pay attention to the name as I missed the start, but it went through their family history of how the circus was started. Showed large groups of elephants and up to 3 calves at a time. Then The grandmother went senile and gave it all away to the cancer council when she died. The son had to struggle to keep it, before rebuilding the fortune with lion parks. Then the struggle with animal libbers shutting down the business so they moved most of the animals back to their proterty. It ended with his two sons, one who is training animals for films, and the other moving to Australia zoo with the last 3 elephants.
It went into a far bit of detail.

I think it was like Australian Story or something, I remember seeing it years ago

At their peak, Bullens owned a herd of 13 Asiatic elephants.
That was in the days when it was not difficult to import them, mainly through dealers in Singapore.

It sounds like the Dynasties show, saw it a while ago, really good show.
