Closed Can a moderator delete some threads?

There's some threads that I posted considered "spam" in the eyes of other members. Could a moderator or SIM delete them?

Secretary Bird Question
Animals Columbus Zoo Doesn't Have

Hi cloudedleopard, we have decided against removing the posts as they are not spam, and do not meet criteria for deletion. Specifically, some have replies, so deleting them would be unfair to those who replied, as well as those who have/will read them.
