@UngulateNerd92 Yes I do. In my opinion, people have way too much trust in their governments, both in Canada and the USA to protect wildlife. When in truth, corrupt governments like these don't give two squats about our wildlife. Yes,
our wildlife. What a government really cares about is expanding it's power wherever it can. And one of the best ways for them to do so is by catering to the special interests over the common interests of the people, including the protection of our wildlife.
For Canada, take how they've been handling the endangered woodland caribou. Instead of actually protecting the habitat like you're supposed to do in protecting endangered species, they instead have wolf-killing sprees to do two things.
One is to give people the idea or the feeling that the provincial governments care about the caribou and are doing what's needed to save them while in fact, they cater to the special interests destroying the caribou's habitat. The other is for the people who don't fall for it. They know not everyone will be fooled by this scheme and thus also see these killing sprees as a great way to get people to fight each other so that they, like in the USA, can run off with the money. Divide and conquer, a simple concept that works like a charm.
