CarniDIET: A new database of carnivore diets

A free, online database has been created to make publicly available all research on the diets of a large number of land carnivores. Designed to be used by both academic and general public use, it will allow the diets of the same species to be compared across their global range (for example, how the diet of a red fox differs in the UK from China) or compare between different species. This could help inform future conservation strategies both for carnivores and their prey species. The database has been created by a PhD student at the University of Sussex.

Sounds like an interesting, and very difficult, project. Even within a country, diets can vary wildly.
