It is indeed a real story, unless the world press has been fooled :)
 
Even if it was possible it would make one wonder if it would indeed be worth it, We have the African lion heading towards being made an endangered species with numbers at an all time low and one population of the Asian Lion so mankind appear to be having a problem protecting these let alone trying to make room for extinct animals

I just merged the two Cave Lion threads (so TLD's link and photo above relate to the three posts above it).
 
Damn, I had tried to find any other posts about the latest find and drew a blank :P
