CBS News visits Madagascar biodiversity in cool video

that were some quite cool shots in there, albeit many of them in captive situations. The guy being interviewed was a bit odd though: "there are these things called lemurs..." Really?!? Had he honestly not heard of lemurs before going there, or thought regular people wouldn't know what a lemur was? And then there was "some sort of creature" fed to the chameleon on the end of a stick: doesn't everyone know what a praying mantis is? Surely one of the most recognisable insects on the planet!

I liked the bit at the start too, about "60 Minutes goes to extreme lengths to get stories, and you expect that-- you expect that if it's on 60 Minutes, that they really do go to the ends of the Earth.". The island is full of tourists from what I understand, hardly "extreme lengths".
