The Center for Animal Research & Education is a facility located in Bridgeport, Texas. Species at the facility include African lion, margay, Siberian lynx, generic tiger, cougar, bobcat, ring-tailed lemur, llama, and African spurred tortoise.

On February 15th, the sanctuary announced they acquired a (0.1) margay named Juno from Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Texas.

On April 20th, the sanctuary announced that a (1.0) serval named Kevin passed away.

On June 2nd, the sanctuary announced that a (0.1) llama named Dhalia passed away at age 8 after she fell and shattered her pelvis.

On July 9th, the sanctuary announced they built a new building for their older residents, and they moved (3.2) generic tigers in.

On July 21st, the sanctuary announced that their (0.1) melanistic leopard named Raven passed away at age 25. She was the oldest leopard in the world, and held that title since when she turned 23.

On February 13th, 2023, the sanctuary announced that they acquired a (1.0) bobcat named Diego on February 10th from the Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Texas after it was kept as a pet.

On June 21st, the sanctuary announced that (0.2) generic tigers named Selena and Sydney passed away at ages 23 and 20 due to complete liver failure and significant spinal bone loss respectively.

On July 24th, the sanctuary announced that they acquired a (0.1) bobcat named Nala from an unspecified nature center in Texas. On October 22nd, the sanctuary announced that Nala passed away on October 21st at age 17 due to organ failure caused by old age.
