To start off the new thread....

The Roan Antelope calf has now been sexed and is a.... Boy! :D

I saw him yesterday, he is lovely. Also saw the male courting one of the females.

Any particular reason why we needed another thread?

I decided to create this thread due to it being part way through 2011 and the previous thread getting too long (in my opinion) sorry for any confusion caused by it :o

So back to our scheduled Chester news, a third vicuna was born today.

Small child "What's that?"
Mother peers at nearby sign which clearly says Tapir "Oh, I don't know, it's a... thing!"

Quality - mutual friend shared a story via Fuzzbook of someone claiming that a species was a "Cappucino Monkey" - I nearly wee'd laughing - that's the funniest I've heard yet. Off topic I know but I felt the need to share :)

I also observed today that there is bush dog pups - don't know how many, only saw one myself but was lucky to glimpse that so I'm not saying there is only one there.

(p.s. sorry for poor picture quality, didn't have much time as it just sped from one den to the next).
