I assume you are saying that the dirt would definitely (rather than defiantly) cause contamination. How do you know that?
 
Any construction work creates dust so this becomes airborne and would land on thus contaminate everything including the pools. It would be like filling your bath at home then decorating your bathroom and expecting the water to still be clean after .
