This map is way better because it gives me a feel of what's actually where

Only thing I'd suggest is maybe having more visible animal sillhouetes

They're also not very clear as to what animal they refer to, especially the big cats, unless you know what's there or read the text. The Visayan warty pig silhouette for example looks more like a hedgehog to me. Might've been better to have full body animal silhouettes but otherwise the clarity and design is much improved with the paths and buildings shown clearly.

Looking at the map again I have a question about the rebrand. Does Islands still exist as a named area or is it now just going to be the pink zone?

They seem to have taken away the named exhibits on the map at least, though they're still visible and named in real life.

Especially the more critically endangered or Chester exclusive species.

It’s not just Islands. Realm of the Red Ape and Spirit of the Jaguar (and probably many more I am not familiar with as an outsider) are also referred by what’s in the exhibit rather by name.

100%. Nothing's ever perfect but this is a transformative improvement for my money.
