At one point yesterday, Chester zoo was the 3rd most talked about subject on the social network, thanks to a tweet by Jason Manford, the new host of BBC1's one show.
He tweeted that it would be up to his followers, whether he visited Chester or Blackpool zoo, needless to say Chester won.
All publicity is good publicity

Chester were quick on the uptake as well. They tweeted him back straight away.

Good use of twitter's immediacy - well certainly from chesters point of view. Not sure how Blackpool would feel about it
