A complete species list of animals at CMZ including off exhibit animals. All the animals are in some way or another viewable to guests so nothing here is exactly secret information. 6 species of amphibian
9 species of invertebrate
3 species of fish
56 species of mammal
All together, that is 150 unique species. They may not all have dedicated exhibit space, but almost every species is viewable to guests either through shows or exhibit rotation. With the addition of the new Making Waves exhibits, the zoo will be close to returning to their 170 species number that they had before renovations started. A final species list for that exhibit is still not available but confirmed "new" species include Nile hippo (Hippopotamus amphibius) and African penguin (Spheniscus demersus). The exhibit will feature more species but those are the only 2 hard species that are not subject to change. Other potential species include a species of gazelle, a lemur species, and multiple bird and fish species.
