I have always had an intense interest in wildlife from a young age, leading zoos to be one of my favorite places for their conservation and wildlife.
I have been fortunate enough to have been on road trips across the US has helped me visit many amazing zoos. Unfortunately my city is one of the few in the state that does not have a zoo, so road trips were a necessity.
So far, I have been to:
Brookfield zoo, Lincoln park zoo, Saint Louis zoo, Denver zoo, San diego zoo, San diego zoo safari park, Indianapolis zoo, Knoxville zoo, Tampa's Lowry park zoo
Cosley zoo, Phillips park zoo, Scovill zoo, Aikman's wildlife adventure, RainForest discovery adventure zoo, Alligator and wildlife discovery center, as well as Naples zoo (as an infant)
Shedd Aquarium, Ripley's aquarium of Canada, Downtown aquarium Denver, sea world San Diego, Georgia aquarium, and the Florida aquarium
Some of the animals that I would like to see the most are (that are in zoos)
Any Kiwi or Pangolin species, Platypuses, Little blue penguins, Cuscus, Bilbies, Quolls, African manatees, Dugong, Honey badgers, giant wetas, a Fiordland penguin, a javan or sumatran rhinoceros, and a giant otter. This list is obviously by no means exhaustive.
To put it shortly, I am a huge 'nerd' for zoos, animals, and wildlife, and am glad to start interacting with what seems like a great community!
