I am currently studing A level geography, and would like a few of you to respond to this survey please. Please try to keep answers fairly short!

5.No, tougher restrictions are needed in the UK and other countries to reduce the amount of plastics etc that are thrown into landfills every year. Also I personally feel buses should replace cars in all cities.
6.Yes I recycled everything I can and I would say I was a bit of a recycle geek! I also try to walk to nearby places rather than use a car. We also have energy efficient light bulbs.

5. No - Reduce car parking spaces in and around town centres forcing people to use the public transport.
Restrict the amount of fuel we can use per month (using a credit card type payment). Use more natural sources for our power ie Wind & the sea
Don't forget a Old Friend of mine told me many years ago "The Ice Age has not finished untill there is no Ice left on either Poles" maybe looking at it today he could have been right!
7. Yes use alot of the stuff I buy and return most of it to the garden. Tins and Glass are collected every two weeks by the council for recycling.

I am a registered doner so when I go to another place I hope most of my body parts are recycled and do someone else some good.

5 no, my local council plan to floodlight all public buildings in the city, and at the same time they are telling residents to save energy. Businesses need to cut down on the amount of non-biodegradable plastic used, and excess packaging of goods. Do I really need to buy a bar of soap in a plastic wrapper, inside a cardboard box, which itself is wrapped in plastic? I've twice emailed the company concerned and also written, I have been ignored so I no longer use ANY of their products.

6 I recycle glass, metal, paper and garden waste. I have done so since 1974. Stoke-on-Trent Council have been recycling for around 5-6 years. It just proves how much they actually care about the environment. I never use man made fertilisers, pesticides or insecticide. I never leave the TV, music centre or my PC on standby. I use public transport whenever I can, and walk to many local destinations.

No, because they could do a whole lot more, but they don't want to do it because they might lose votes (speaking in terms of Uk here!)

Yes, i try to save electricity and recycle as much as possible

No. For some reasons mentioned above. At the college I go to, I feel that in parts lots of unnessicary gets used. (I probably should complain)

Do you do anything yourself to tackle climate change?
I try to walk to local places, I comsume much less meat than the average Brit does. I also try to recycle lots of stuff.

Because of manipulation of data on this subject, it's completely impossible to say whether there's a big climate change or not. Reliable evidence is showing however that the world is going through a natural cycle, with relatively warm summers and winters.

Natural

Do you think enough is being done to tackle climate change? Why/Why not?
There is nothing we can do about the climate. It worries me however that governmenst are willing to spend billion's of euro's ( taxpayer money) because of a still unproven theory, and completely ignore other more plausible theories.


Do you do anything yourself to tackle climate change?
I try to reduce my electricity comsumption, but more to save money than because of the climate.
