Is anyone able to contradict or add to the information below?
Have only Howletts and Belfast been successful with this species in recent years? I'm aware Belfast no longer keep them.
Howletts:
6.5 (including 4 cubs born in last 12 months)
Port Lympne:
1.2 (including 1 cub born in the last 12 months)
Wildlife Heritage Foundation:
1.1
RSCC:
1.0
Thrigby:
1.0
Linton:
1.1
Cotswold?
Santago?
I know that Santago sent 1.1 to the RSCC where, according to ISIS, they appeared to produce 2 cubs within a year of being moved there. However, I'm not sure what happened to these as ISIS has now listed 1.0 for a while now, I'm assuming the one that alternates its outdoor cage with the pumas. I'm not even sure if the Santago collection exists anymore?
The 1 birth at Port Lympne I would say is either an ISIS error or possibly a cub from Howletts was hand-raised at Port Lympne. I was under the impression the 2 females there were rather old.
It's interesting that Linton now hold this species, and that Cotswold have plans for them too.
