Went to Colchester today. Took the chimps and orangs some enrichment treats, which they all seemed to love. Talia growing very quickly. Saw Tumba have a play session with her and then he carried her around on his back for a little while. He displayed at the window and was told off by Tembe.
Rajang and Tiga were having fun in the sun outside. Raj was very active, which is always lovely to see. Someone called poor Rajang a "baboon" though!
Zamba still full of beans and was winding up the zebra in the outside paddock! Otto still not fully integrated with the other animals. Ayo the hippo was outside with her mum and seems to be doing really well.
The ant colony were fantastic, watched them for ages.
Both sloths were oustide and moving around - first time seeing them actually move and I go practically every week!

Thanks MonkeyGirlAmy. :D

Were the ants on the main island bit or are they still only in the tank?
Also how is the small mammals development coming along?

They were on the island :)
There wasn't anyone working on small mammals yesterday but it seems to be coming along nicely. Will be back next week so I'll let you know how they're getting on with the development

Blimey ...... imagine a dozen or more Rajangs jumping up and down all over your car next time you go to a Safari Park ........ think I'd happily accept the damage for that kind of experience !

:D Gill that made me laugh!!! :D

I can imagine Rajang sat on the bonnet staring through the windscreen you would never get him off!! maybe he could start his own window washing business following his recent (unpopular) video :p
