That is nice to know. I just thought that I would add that there was some not overtly pleasant and pretty noisy tinned christmus music playing near the house and canteen. The sun bears got a fair bash of it!!

Is this land in anyway attached to the zoo or is it separated by distance, sounds like a great piece of business for the zoo.

This land is (from what i know) right next to the colchester zoo complex

This picture from their facebook page shows the zoo from the air.

I assume its the land to the left, joining the nature reserve and the overflow car parking and the land behind the staff areas?

What a wonderful idea to be self sufficient for bedding etc.
