I'm wondering if anyone has any photos or maps from the Columbus Zoo dated before 1999. I'm trying to reconstruct the north half of the zoo in me head, and can't remember where everything fit in.
I'm specifically interested in the old Gorilla house (or was this incorporated into the new house?), Cheetah habitat, Wendy's restaurant, Polar Bear grotto, and the old, round, stucco picnic pavillions along the river.
I'm also curious about the old "Children's Zoo," a small walk through shelter with 50's style primate cages along one side, with an outdoor primate habitat on each side.
Also, does anyone remember where the Pandas were housed back in '92? My memory seems to tell me that they were in a building back behind the Reptile house, near where the Bonobos indoor habitat is now.
