The scoping information for Utah Bureau of Land Management's (the Bureau's) Fourth Quarter 2023 Oil and Gas Lease Sale is now available. According to the press release and documents, the Utah Bureau is considering four alternatives: Alternative A (Proposed Action) contains 6 parcels, 8,972.24 acres; Alternative B (Greater Sage-Grouse Habitat Avoidance) contains 1 parcel, 2,530 acres; Alternative C (Greater Sage-Grouse Prioritization) contains 5 parcels, 6,012.24 acres; Alternative D (No Action). Comments are due by 4:30 pm on Monday, July 3.
