Here you can complain about anything, zoo or non zoo. Any complaint you have.

Here's mine: Why are there no puck shaped Klondike bars for sale in the United States? I saw them when I was in Canada last month and as a hockey fan I thought that was swell. I would have bought a box to take home but I would have had to take them through customs (you never know when they will rip your car apart and you should always assume that customs will take longer than you think it will), then drive back to my hotel a dozen miles through the boonies, where a moose can run out in the road and delay you further at any time), then either eat them all there or somehow get them back to CT with their melting. Also, why no orange Aero's?

My complaint is that there are far too few peanut butter sweeties in the UK - in the states there are oodles of them, we do get Reeses Peanut butter cups and nutrageous now that ASDA are part of Walmart but still not where near as much as in the USA!!
also - and I'm torn about this one as potentially I would indulge in too many - but CINNABON needs to open across the UK rather than the 5 paultry branches that exist here - the nearest to me being about 3 hours drive away!!
so not fair!!
 
I have so many complaints about this world I don't know where to start;) .
Seriously though why aren't there more Australian animals and birds in zoos in Europe? I know the Australian government won't let anyone export anything but australian fauna is my favourite and I only get to see it when I go to Perth every 2 years. Why didn't zoos breed the animals they had when they just took them from the wild whenever wanted. The range of species would be much better in Europe if they had forward planning and some species like passenger pigeons, carolina parakeets, thylacines etc. would not be extinct. Zoos were seriously unethical in those days! :mad:

On a lighter note I wish there were more vegan options in restaurants :rolleyes: and I wish I won the lottery why am I not super rich :confused: I don't need I job, I just need money! :D

Prince William's wife is pregnant again, I'm supposed to be excited why? The internet keeps telling me I'm supposed to be, but all I'm feeling is quite a bit of annoyance.

By the way, the stuff her family's company sells? Not impressed.

I agree completely, I am not at all bothered about the british AKA 'our' royal family. The royal family is waste of taxpayers money that could be better spent somewhere else:mad:

I read some where, England would save so much money if, they would chase the royal family out of Buckingham Palace, and make them get real jobs. England could higher actors and use Buckingham Palace as a historical park.

PS. if you feel sorry for the royal family, I'm sure they could make money doing guest appearances with the Kardashians.
 
I don't give a d*** about George Clooney getting married, will websites please stop talking about it right now. I wanna hear about the volcanic eruption in Japan thank you, not this tawdry nonsense. I was never impressed with any of his movies anyway and you know he's going to be divorced in three years anyway. And anyone who represents Julian Assange is very nutty, in my view, given that Sweden is the last place in the world that would extradite someone to a country where they might face the death penalty. He's trying to get out of facing rape charges, if you ask me.
 
What annoys me is the hypocracy of the U. S. government in world affairs. If a group of people rise up against a government that Washington dislikes, they're called freedom fighters. If a group of people rise up against a government that Washington likes, they're called rebels.
 
Cell phones (so-called smart or otherwise). I have never owned one and I absolutely hate them. If I could find a way to go back in time and prevent them from being invented I would.

1) They use coltan (I think that is what it is called) which is mined from west African rainforests and destroys habitat for countless animals (gorillas, etc,)

2) They produce obnoxious ringtones (a seemingly endless variety) even in the most inappropriate places: church, concerts, out in nature...

3) People with whom I am having a conversation will stop mid sentence to answer their cell phone as if it is a call from the president. This happens all the time at work - I am helping a customer and they stop mid transaction to answer their phone.

4) They are the cause of auto accidents, sometimes with deadly results. A study I saw in the Automobile Association magazine said talking on a cell phone while driving is statistically equivalent to drinking and driving. Yet people who never think of driving drunk talk on their phone while driving all the time.
 
@ Arizona docent good points although coltan is used in pretty mucn all electronic devices including, I believe, many camera lenses :eek:
 
I have a cell phone, my mother made me get it. At least its a cheap one that I can't use for texting (well I can but I don't know how). I hardly ever use it, but unfortunately I kind of need it right now because someone tried to stalk me earlier this year and unfortunately this individual knows where I live and has previous convictions for sex related crimes so the police told me to always have it on me.
 
I love Hagen Daaz Belgian Chocolate Ice Cream, but the only place I've ever seen it sold in the little pint things is in the Bahamas
