ZSL Whipsnade Zoo CONFISCATED TORTOISES

Pleasing to see the plight of Testudo kleinmanni get some extra publicity, and indeed the good work of ZSL and HM Customs and Excise.

But the thing I enjoyed most there was the 'sea creature' reference you mention, particularly as the 'small sea creatures' are described as being found in 'dry areas, with sand, dry woodland and scrubs among the areas they choose'. That sure sounds like the sea to me... :D
 
So these "robbing buggers" would appear to have their uses apart from fleecing people at the car park etc. and keeping elephants in an obvious need of liberation.
