Just got back from a holiday in Spain, based in Madrid and Seville.....
Of course I visited Faunia Madrid andMadrid Zoo/ Aquarium - both of which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I avoided the Mundo Park Zoo near Seville because I was warned off by Keeper that it was very bad but on a day trip to Cordoba to see the Mosque, I was surprised to find that there is a zoo there.....
I didnt know about it before (no mention on this site). I didnt visit as my time in Cordoba was very short (only 3 hours) and I wanted to see the historical sites.
A web search suggests it was once another example of a Spanish slum zoo but has been re-developed over the last 10 years or so.
I imagined something along the lines of Pistoia Zoo in Italy, but have struggled to find anything concrete beyond a few (possibly outdated) pictures.
Has anyone visited this zoo recently?
I may be visiting Seville again soon and thought I migth try and get over to Cordoba to see it......
