Shingo was born in 2009 and is the only hybrid(I believe) from FL. The other 3:0 are Rothschild born since 2013 roughly

Cotswolds Wildlife Park celebrates its 51st birthday today.
Probably the most interesting thing about that post on Instagram is that the park once held Seals! If anybody has any information about this it would be hugely appreciated.

They were held in the Walled Garden, and were maybe Baikals. I know that the plan was for Baikal seals but not sure if they got them or ended up with a more local species like grey or common?
I've never seen seals on any of my visits to Cotswold Wildlife Park; however ZooTierListe shows Cotswold Wildlife Park as former holders of common seal (harbour seal).
I don't believe any UK zoo other than London or Twycross ever exhibited Baikal seal.
My information is half-remembered from the book about the history of the place (name escapes me, Rhino's On The Lawn?), and it's only a passing reference to the Baikal seals, so that's why I assumed they never acquired them.
I have the book, will start checking it out!
I think it's quite early on, unfortunately I've only read it once and it was borrowed from a friend and I've now returned it so can't double-check. It's also why I said it was "half-remembered", therefore absolving me of any blame if I'm wrong!
