I have taken my niece and nephew there a few times. It is a very nice nature museum that has enough animals to perhaps qualify as a small zoo. Most of the animal habitats were built in the 1980s and are small, but adequate. Most of the animals are wild animals that were injured and cannot be released. They have an otter exhibit with underwater viewing. There is a very nice native plant garden. This is a great place for kids and is in a big park with a great view of San Francisco Bay and lots of area to romp around and hike.
