This species list represents Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s on-show collection as of the 25th June 2022. The list is an exhibit-by-exhibit walkthrough of the facility with each number representing a different enclosure. The species in italics were signed but not seen. It is very likely that species were missed especially in the Lost Valley aviary but generally most species should be covered. Here is a map to follow along: Map | Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Thank you for this comprehensive species list! I visited Currumbin briefly as a kid in 2007 (and remember little other than the lorikeets and leaving my Rainbow Fairies bag in the taxi on the way back to the airport), but this sounds like a wonderful collection. I'd love to visit again if I'm ever in Queensland in the future!
