Anyone have info on the possible closure of the D.Straz Manatee Hospital?
It seems that they may be moving their manatees to other facilities - an adult male was rec'd at the Parker Aquarium today, and some talk 'overheard' seemed to indicate that all the Lowry manatees were being rehoused on very short notice, and that this particular male was being taken in by necessity, not choice (Parker is a rehab facility, not a hospital).
